Hands of Justice
Who We Are
Hands of Justice is a movement of migrant healthcare workers and allies, built from the ground up to demand dignity, rights, and justice. Born out of Tulia’s leadership programme with Amnesty International UK, our team came together through powerful storytelling and grassroots organising.
We are carers, workers, and leaders who refuse to be silenced by a hostile immigration system. Our strength lies in solidarity: building knowledge, growing leadership, and pushing for political change.
As one participant at our founding workshop in Coventry said: “We are not just victims. We are agents, with untapped resources all around us.”
Our Vision
We believe workers’ rights are human rights. Migrant carers, too often treated as disposable deserve power, agency, and protection. Hands of Justice is committed to creating a future where every care worker is respected, informed, and free to stand up for their rights.
Our Strategic Goals
Build Knowledge & Confidence – By December 2025, we’ll launch peer-led “Know Your Rights” groups online to train 1,000 migrant workers in workplace rights.
Build Leadership & Sustainability – By the end of 2025, we’ll train at least 30 migrant worker leaders to co-facilitate rights sessions and sustain organising efforts across the UK.
Win Political Attention – By March 2026, we’ll gather 100,000 petition signatures for stronger protections and brief 20 MPs with testimonies from migrant carers.
Together, these goals build momentum, each victory fuelling the next.
