We Condemn the Violence in Belfast and Glasgow
The violence unfolding in Belfast and Glasgow is deeply troubling. Tulia Group stands firmly against racism, intimidation, and mob violence in all its forms. No one, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or immigration status, should live in fear.
We also recognise that serious crimes must be addressed through the justice system, not through collective punishment of entire communities. The suspect in the Belfast attack has been charged and will face the law. That is how justice works.
Migrant communities across the UK, including the care workers, nurses, and families we support every day , deserve safety, dignity, and the full protection of the law. They are not responsible for the actions of individuals, and they must not be made to pay with their peace, their homes, or their livelihoods.
We call on leaders, authorities, and communities to respond with calm, truth, and accountability, not hatred.
