UK Visa Application Fees Are Increasing From 8 April 2026

The Home Office has confirmed updated fees across a range of immigration and nationality routes.

Most fees rise by approximately 5–7% from 8 April. Planning ahead can make a real difference.

Here are some of the highlights:

Applications made outside of the UK:

  • Visit visa – short up to 6 months- £135

  • Skilled Worker - Health and Care Visa - where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for three years or less - main applicant and dependants - £324

  • Skilled Worker - Health and Care Visa - where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for over three years - £628

  • Skilled Worker, where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for three years or less - £819

  • Skilled Worker, where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for over three years - £1,618

  • Skilled Worker - a job on the Immigration Salary List where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for three years or less -£628

  • Skilled Worker - a job on the Immigration Salary List where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for over three years - £1,235

  • Student - main applicant and dependants - £558 (applications made in and outside of the UK)

Applications made IN THE UK

  • Skilled Worker, where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for three years or less - £943

  • Skilled Worker, where a certificate of sponsorship has been issued or approval to sponsor under Sponsor a Worker has been given for over three years - £1,865

  • Skilled Worker visa fees - jobs on ISL and Health Care visa are the same as in and outside of the UK

Inside and outside of the UK

  • Indefinite leave to remain - main applicant and dependants £3,226 (increase from £3,029)

  • Naturalisation (British citizenship) - £1,709
