Inspired to Act – Lessons from the Migrants & Housing Summit

This month, I attended the Migrants, Refugees & Housing Summit in Coventry for the first time—and I left deeply encouraged and full of ideas. The event was a powerful space of truth-telling, learning, and collaboration. It reminded me that real change happens when we listen to communities and work together.

Hearing from other grassroots organisations about how they are combining housing solutions with legal advice, emotional support, and organising power affirmed our mission at Tulia. We don’t just offer services—we build pathways to restoration and justice.

As we move forward, Tulia is committed to developing tailor-made, dignified solutions for migrants and refugees facing housing insecurity. This summit reminded me that dignity must be at the heart of everything we do.
